Fashion design & research
Olga Niescier works in fashion since 2003
as a designer, consultant and lecturer.
She specializes in research and design for
high-end fashion brands, particularly in the
field of innovative leather and material
development (Giorgio Armani, Burberry,
Fratelli Rossetti, Etro, others).
As a consultant and lecturer she focuses on
aesthetic research for trend application in
fashion design and communication, aims to
link creativity with managerial skills and
cultural studies. Her experience includes a
position of development director for
Viamoda University in Warsaw, master’s
coordinator in Kozminski University Warsaw,
lecturer and consultant for Polimoda
Instutute Florence, Fashion Week Poland,
lecturer for IFA Paris.
Olga also creates various projects in fashion
styling and in costume design for theatre
and contemporary ballet.
Costume & scenography
Olga is fascinated by and involved in stage
life since 1999, contributing to
contemporary dance and theater music
performances with her costume creations.
In last years she expands her vision to the
field of digital scenography, creating
imaginary settings with the use of her visual
art and video projections.
Image stotytelling
Artistic direction of photographic and
editorial projects, where fashion
photography creates a starting point for an
emotional visual tale. Photo sessions and
graphic postproduction created with
students of fashion styling, design,
photography and business as well as teams
of professionals for the purpose of
experimenting with visual communication.
Writing
Many of Olga’s presentations and research
projects become articles for design and art
magazines. Subjects include the in-depth
sociological and cultural inquiries about
changing consumer and aesthetic trends as
well as presentations of attentively chosen
designers and artists.
Olga wrote a series of articles “Spirit in the
materia” for Poland based, international
award winning magazine DesignAlive.
The concepts of design meeting spirituality
resulted in beautiful covers and editorials.
